Our Story
Juan is the heart behind Juanitos. Originally from Argentina and now calling Melbourne home, he’s spent years working in pastry kitchens, always chasing that perfect balance of flavour and comfort. But no matter how far from home, there was one taste he could never forget—dulce de leche.
Juanitos was born from that craving. A small, local operation with big heart, we make our dulce de leche the traditional way. It’s our way of sharing a little piece of Argentina with our Melbourne community, one creamy spoonful at a time.
Because sometimes, all you need is something honest, sweet, and made with love.

New Soil, Same Soul2020
Juan landed in Australia with a backpack, a sweet tooth, and zero plans. One year and one van later, he fell for the vibrant, food-loving culture of Melbourne.

From early shifts in pastry kitchens to late-night churro cravings, Juan honed his craft in some of Melbourne’s best bakeries - and quietly dreamed of something more caramel-drizzled.

In a city bursting with flavours, one thing was missing: authentic, nostalgic, homemade dulce de leche. So Juan did what any dessert-obsessed visionary would do - he made his own.

A sticky, swirly, unapologetically sweet brand was born. Juanito’s launched with a mission: bring the rich joy of South American dulce de leche to Aussie shelves (and spoons).
